What are medium-consistency pumps?

Medium-consistency pumps are used to transport medium-consistency paper slurry and other slurries.

Our AKM series medium-consistency pumps are used to transport 8%-18% of the slurry. All using heavy duty bearings and the shafts are made of duplex steel. The pump cover is designed with air exhausting device. The expeller is relatively high, reducing the axial force, improving the efficiency of the pump.

Features: Our products can replace the Medium-consistency pumps of  AHLSTAR, Metso, and Andritz.

Major applications: Our medium-consistency centrifugal pumps are suitable for the most demanding process applications to pump medium concentration fiber suspensions of consistencies up to 18%, high dry solid content slurry and high gas content media. They cover all medium concentration applications of pulp, paper and paperboard, as well as related biomass and biofuel applications.
